I have ALWAYS seen the beauty and the energy of the Crystals & Stones as the EXPRESSIVE ART OF THE CREATOR. Each Stone or Crystal is UNIQUE in its energy and its personality, yes these Stones & Crystals have a PERSONALITY. I often tell individuals who may not like a certain type of Crystal or Stone to try a different individual one. What they may not like is the PERSONALITY of that specific Crystal or Stone.

In the sweatlodge the red hot stones are individually blessed with sweetgrass and the GRANDMOTHER is welcomed into the sweatlodge.
I often refer to the Crystals & Stones as the GRANDMOTHERS & GRANDFATHERS. In the Shaman view of LIFE, LIFE consists of 4 KINGDOMS - Mineral Kingdom, Plant Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Human Kingdom. The Mineral Kingdom is the Elder of ALL the KINGDOMS. The Crystals & Stones are members of the Mineral Kingdom and as such are the ELDERS (Grandmothers & Grandfathers).
I work with the members of the Mineral Kingdom (Crystals & Stones) in much the same way as most Shamans work with the Plant Kingdom (Sage & other plant medicines).

Kyanite I use in a similar manner that Sage is often used. Kyanite is an excellent stone for smugging and clearing the energy of a individual or the energy in a room or environment.

Consulting: By Donation.
What I mean by 'consulting' is to advise on a family of Crystal or Stone when wanting to achieve a certain objective. General advise on how to work with the Mineral Kingdom.
Meditation: By Donation.
Meditations that helps to re-sensitize to the energy and the spirit of the Mineral Kingdom. This is best done with a small group and it needs to be on-going over a few months. Re-sensitizing to this energy is a PROCESS and is not something that can occur over a short time. The principals can be learned in a hour or two, but KNOWING something and DOING something are completely different.
Laying-on-of-Stones; Negotiated pricing.
This is a POWERFUL way of working with the Mineral Kingdom and the ENERGY shift can be dynamic. It requires a minimum of 30 Crystals & Stones and large enough space where a person can comfortably lay on the floor, with enough space around them to create the crystal design. It is time consuming as well, it can take 20 or 30 minutes to place the Crystal & Stones, plus another 30 or 40 minutes for the individual to experience the lay-out.

| Blue Apatite Elixir |
These Elixirs are the Energy and Spirit of the CRYSTAL or STONE merged with the ENERGY of the WATER. It is the HEAT of the body that releases the Energy & Spirit of the Stone to merge with our ENERGY. The HEAT being the trigger of releasing the Gem's energy is why I do not recommend mixing the ELIXIR in hot liquids.
The important aspect to the success of the ELIXIR is AWAKENING the spirit of the WATER to work with the spirit of the CRYSTAL or STONE. One needs to AWAKEN the WATER to your INTENTION of the ELIXIR, this assures that the two - Water & Gem - are working together to produce an effective ELIXIR.

Crystalworks is a store that I get most of my Crystals & Stones from. I find it difficult to call Crystalworks a "store" as it is much more than that, Crystalworks is truly one of a kind. Their variety of Crystals & Stones is extensive and unique. The quality of their pieces is top grade. When working with the Crystals & Stones, knowing where a Crystal or Stone is from is important, as the place can add to the energy of the Crystal or Stone. The staff at Crystalworks know where their pieces are from, which helps greatly when looking for a piece.

The pieces in the store's gallery are large and of museum quality. At first glance one might be intimated at the cost. Please don't be. There are also dozens of drawers that contain many more pieces, and one can spend days going through them all. The prices varies from $2 to as much as one wants to spend. The staff is very helpful and do not mind having people coming in to browse and to enjoy the energy of the awesome large pieces.

Another important aspect to finding the right specimen of Stone or Crystal is that the specimen is in what is termed its "natural" form. What is meant by its "natural" form is that it has not been enhanced artificially. There are methods that are used to enhance the colour of different Stones - radiation, dye, heat, molecule binding. Crystalworks does not deal in any artificially enhanced specimens. This is good to know as it can be difficult to tell by simple observations. Cutting, Polishing and Carving does not affect the specimen's natural energy and is not considered to be artificial enhancement.

It was at Crystalworks that I found my Deer bone fossil that I used as the handle for my Medicine Rattle. Jewellery, Carvings, Fetishes are also part of the Crystalworks' passions. Many of the jewellery and carvings are from local artists.
